Juan and Leo found the weak newborn in the pasture and
brought the little family up to the enclosure near the house. With head-butts, mom made it clear that she was not going to feed the little black lamb. She and “Spot” the white lamb with the black ring around her eye stayed in the enclosure a few weeks until it seemed the baby would be safe in the pasture.
